Available nationwide for the first time, 26.2 Brew is a new take on a beloved beer originally brewed in 2012 for the Boston Marathon. Brewed with Himalayan sea salt and coriander, 26.2 Brew is a crisp, light ale developed for runners, by runners. Shelley Smith, a brewer and marathon runner, developed 26.2 Brew out of her passion to help runners celebrate with the most refreshing beer possible.
“As a runner and triathlete, I understand what is important to athletes. That’s what makes this beer different from others that are out there. While most breweries are stripping flavor to cut calories, we focused on brewing a beer using ingredients that not only fit what runners were looking for, but also delivered a great taste.”

Des Linden is a two-time Olympian and the first American woman to win the Boston Marathon open division in 33 years. Beyond her love for Boston (seriously, she even named her dog Boston), Des loves beer as much as we do. She’s known to celebrate 26.2 miles with a post-marathon 26.2 Brew and a burger. This year, she’s helping us celebrate with runners at races around the country.
Meb is the only athlete ever to win the New York City Marathon, the Boston Marathon and an Olympic medal. After years of training (and winning), Meb knows that running for a reward makes the long days and countless miles worth it. Somehow between running marathons, writing books and giving motivational speeches, Meb finds time to celebrate his hard work with a 26.2 Brew.
In addition to the joy of completing the historic Boston Marathon, runners of this year's race can also look forward to a new beer that was brewed specifically with them in mind. But even if you are watching at home, you can still crack one open with them in solidarity.Full Story
